Super Diesel Additive is a fuel‐system additive for diesel engines, designed for both preventive maintenance and remedial use. According to the manufacturer:

• It “removes deposits in the diesel injection system and in the combustion chamber, and prevents new deposits.”

• It “maintains all components of the diesel injection system. Prevents any seizing up and gumming up of nozzle needles.” 

• It “boosts the cetane number, improves the ignition performance of the diesel fuel and ensures smooth engine running.” 

• It “protects the entire fuel system against corrosion and wear. Optimizes the emission test values and the performance of the engine. Clean engines use less fuel and reduce pollutant emissions.” 

Diesel fuel additives are specially-formulated chemical compounds that are added to diesel fuel (either at the refinery, at the pump, or by vehicle owners) to enhance the performance, protection and stability of the fuel and fuel system. 

They are not just “extra fuel” but contain detergents, lubricity enhancers, cetane boosters, corrosion inhibitors, water dispersants, cold-flow improvers and more.
